CARRY OUT PRUNING OPERATIONS (AERIAL). Training Preparing for City & Guilds NPTC CS40
This unit covers the use of the chainsaw and/or other pruning tools working from a rope andharness in conjunction with a ground person in medium sized open grown trees
CONTENT:
- Identify, inspect and comment upon key parts of the equipment to be used.
- Prepare the equipment for use ensuring the safety of themselves, other people and the environment.
- Comment upon the structure, condition and properties of the tree(s) to be worked upon.
- Use a chainsaw and other pruning tools whilst maintaining a working position within the crown of a tree using a rope and harness in conjunction with ground staff.
Training Duration: 3 Days
City & Guilds (NPTC) Assessment: 1 Day
Total 4 Days
Maximum Group Size: 4 Candidates
Candidates must hold NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38 & CS39
Cost includes all registration, assessment and certification fees
